Re: Show Response Level in Process query

Hi Adam,

We run the same way here (queries based on Process), and here's what I've done to include Response Level in Process-based queries.  It seems to work without any issues.

  1. Add an attribute to Process (e.g., 'Process Response Level').  Make it a String big enough to hold the titles for any Response Level you plan to define.
  2. Add a Copy rule for each type of process (i.e., Incident, Request, etc.).
    1. set it to fire on Create/Change/Updated events
    2. set the source to "Response Level/Title"
    3. set the target to "Process Response Level"

You want to use the title instead of the RL itself, because the RLs for Incidents and Requests (and Change, Problem) are each different objects even if you name them the same.  This way if you make the titles the same, it will still group them by RL when sorted.

Good Luck!

-Brian
