Hi Paul,

 

Thanks for the helpful information, I agree with what you said, there is no perfect solution in every way, just pick the on which works the most for our users. I am still running on the older version, without SP2, so I do not have the "Stop processes" and "Continuation".

 

If I turn on "continuation", let say I have few patches that did not get installed due to pending reboot, with this option on, the repair of these patches will kick in automatically the moment the PC rebooted and user logged in?

 

Referring to my question #2 above, in "Security and Patch information", I noticed that sometimes, it says "reboot is needed" but there is no patch number provided to state that the reboot is needed to complete the patch installation. Do you know what could be possible reasons?
